Our vision of innovation and quality is once again reflected in the recent expansion of our range of fire-retardant treated wood, offering the possibility to meet the reaction to fire class requirements for facade and wall cladding.

Expansion of our product range

Our division dedicated to fire protection solutions with wood, Lemahieu Fire Protection, has already built a solid reputation by offering various wood species, including ThermoWood® variants such as LDCwood® Ayous, Ash, Pine, and Spruce, CE-certified with reaction to fire class up to B-s1, d0. Our fire-retardant treatment meets the highest fire standards, making wood a safe and sustainable choice for your facade and wall cladding.

We are pleased to announce that our offering is now even more extensive with the addition of two new certified wood species: ThermoWood® LDCwood® Fraké and Poplar. After the necessary tests, these wood species have successfully achieved the reaction to fire class of B-s1, d0 and B-s2, d0, respectively.

Architectural possibilities

These results provide architects, contractors, and designers the opportunity to choose a wooden cladding that meets the requirements for mid-rise buildings. With our CE-certified solutions, our products opens the door to a wide range of architectural possibilities without compromising on fire safety.

Moreover, no maintenance is required to maintain the reaction to fire class. In addition, we achieve this in a 100% ecological way. The product used for fire-retardant treatment, Burnblock®, is 100% natural, 100% biodegradable, and Cradle-to-Cradle™ Gold certified.

Flexibility in Look & Feel

Every project is unique. In addition to the certification of these new wood species, we now offer the possibility to combine fire-retardant treated wood with a pre-graying agent or painted in a color, all rigorously tested and CE-certified.

Our extensive range of standard wood profiles gives your project a personalized appearance.

A step forward in fire safety

Our focus on innovation in fire safety reflects our ongoing commitment to meet the evolving needs of the construction sector. Meanwhile, we continue to work on even more possibilities.
