More green power for Ghent!

The City of Ghent will purchase all of the generated energy for use in its own buildings. This is not just a pioneering project, Ghent citizens can also co-invest! On June 21, citizen cooperative Beauvent will launch a capital call for this project for a total amount of € 700,000.

Each citizen of Ghent can subscribe to a maximum of 4 shares of € 250, for a maximum of € 1,000 per person. Residents of Ghent who already own shares can purchase up to a maximum of 25 shares. Cooperators of Beauvent have received a dividend between 3.25% and 6% over the past 15 years.

People from Ghent have one week priority to buy shares, after this priority period the call will be open to other interested parties and existing Beauvent cooperators.
