In the wooded surroundings of Bertogne, in the heart of the Belgian Ardennes, the Hutstuff holiday home focuses on a warm, natural experience. The design, featuring a façade and terrace in black impregnated pine and spruce supplied by Decleir Houtconstructies, demonstrates how natural materials and a contemporary finish effortlessly blend with the surrounding landscape.

For the Hutstuff holiday home in Bertogne, pine and spruce from Decleir Houtconstructies were chosen: a natural choice that perfectly suits the wooded character of the Ardennes.

This secluded retreat combines tranquillity, authenticity, and a warm, natural appearance — ideal for anyone looking to fully unwind.

For the design, wood was deliberately chosen for its strong aesthetic and functional performance. The pine and spruce, supplied by Decleir Houtconstructies, were used for both the façade and the terrace. As a result, the exterior forms one cohesive whole that effortlessly blends into its surroundings.

To give the wood a bold, contemporary look, it was impregnated in black. This black finish accentuates the home's clean lines while creating a beautiful contrast with the green of the surrounding nature. The result is a façade and terrace with a timeless, understated appearance that comes into its own throughout the year.

Thanks to this combination of a natural wood type and a thoughtful finish, Hutstuff is a retreat that radiates warmth and character — a place where architecture and landscape merge seamlessly.
