Our STEICO range
STEICO LVL
STEICO LVL (Laminated Veneer Lumber) is one of the most stable wood-based materials. It consists of several layers of approx. 3 mm thick softwood veneers (spruce / pine) that are glued together. This spreads any imperfections evenly over the cross-section, making it as homogenous as can be. This structure gives STEICO LVL maximum strength.
STEICO wood fibre insulation
The environmentally friendly STEICO insulating materials have many advantages: they offer double climate protection because they store CO2 and avoid CO2 emissions from the saved heating energy. They also protect against cold, heat, noise and moisture. STEICO insulation materials are vapour permeable and support a healthy living environment
STEICO I-Joist
STEICO I-joists consist of two components: the so-called "flanges" on the top and bottom sides and the "web" in the middle that connects the two flanges. The flamge material is made of highly durable STEICO LVL laminated veneer lumber, one of the most resilient wood-based materials available. The web is made of STEICO Natural Fiber Boards, a wood-based material characterized by particularly high shear strength.
In combination, this results in an innovative structural product that combines load-bearing capacity with low weight and maximum energy efficiency.
